Comfort Measures for Labor

Comfort Measures for Labor is a great class for couples that want to practice how to manage and be comfortable during labor and birth.  This class serves as an excellent resource for getting in some extra practice time with your partner, refreshing skills from a previous birth or to gain some additional knowledge to compliment other classes taken.  The class is kept small to ensure individualized guidance can be provided by the instructors.  The class is a hands on one evening and covers the following:

breathing technique
attention focusing
positions for laboring and birthing
hands on comfort measures and tools

*This class does not teach in depth topics or philosophies on labor and birth, and is intended as a compliment to childbirth education.

Classes are presented by Red Cedar Birth and taught by Angela Daniel, who is a DONA certified doula, and Connie Perkins, who is a birth doula and direct-entry midwife.
